How it works — two ways to play

One person creates an account and purchases the hunt. Everyone else joins with a code—no account needed for teammates in read-only mode.

Option 1: One team (recommended for 2–3 people)

Step 1: Create an account

One person in your group registers and signs in.

Step 2: Purchase the scavenger hunt

Click Play Now, choose your location, and complete purchase. The buyer becomes team captain and enters answers for the team.

Step 3: Share the code

You’ll receive a code to share with up to three teammates. They open Join Your Team in the main menu (top right), enter the code, and follow along in read-only mode—they can see challenges but not submit answers.

Option 2: Competition mode (recommended for 4+)

Two teams race head-to-head. Competition mode includes two bonus challenges. Purchase Competition mode for your location, then use the two codes—one per team. The first person to join with Team B’s code becomes Team B captain and must sign in. Everyone else joins read-only with their team’s code.

Answer mode vs read-only

Captain (answer mode): Sign in from the menu with the purchasing account to submit answers and drive the hunt.

Teammates (read-only): Use Join Your Team + code only—no password.

Don’t skip the location information sections—some contain clues for the challenges.
